The Vanquish 250 is our deluxe heat powered stove fan.
The fan is designed to circulate the warm air created by your stove into larger than average sized rooms. Which means you will no longer be fighting over the arm chair next to the fireplace! Our Stove Fans are also self-powered, using the heat from the stove to generate power so no batteries or mains power are needed.

Well built and works very well.

All I can tell you at this point is that it is well built, works as advertised and really does move air around when placed in the right position on the stove.
Spare parts readily available from the makers if the motor burns out as well as other bits and bobs.
Only owned for two weeks so cannot judge life expectancy but based on build quility and sticking to instructions for use it should last a while before needing repairs.
Overall well worth considering for your hard earned money.
I have two other fans from the same maker and they both work as advertised as well.

Excellent product

Excellent product, very quiet running

Excellent Stove Fan

Valiant's Vanquish 250 heat powered stove fan is excellent! I've used such fans for years but this one is different. I think because there is only one, very light blade meaning the little motor can turn it very easily. It started up soon after placing on my wood burner & was quickly creating a gentle breeze. Don't expect more than 'gentle' from fans like these, they only need to create small air movements to be effective. It's almost silent in operation too.
What impressed me was that 12 hours later, next morning, when the stove was only lukewarm it was still turning very slowly. I've never known that from any fan. Admittedly it's not shifting any air at that speed but it shows how efficient the fan/motor is compared to multi-blade ones. I believe the lightweight polyamide single blade is so easy for the motor to spin fast that the fan works more, & more efficiently than the competition. Time will tell how long the motor bearings last but there is a 2 year guarantee.
Several adverts on the Internet gave misleading dimensions. I can confirm Height is 251mm (9.8") & Width 230mm (9.0") both including blade. Depth is 100mm (3.9") & Base plate width 140mm (5.5").
As you'll gather, I'm very pleased with my purchase & recommend it to you.
