Vanquish 250

I bought two Vanquish 250s for my wetback firebox. We have a high ceiling house which was stratifying the heat quite badly especially as the fire was also in an alcove. The fans have transformed the heat effect of the fire and the comfort of the house.

This model is very efficient, presumably because the blades are long and thin like a gliders wings vs a powered aircraft. The only model I have seen that uses this optimal design.

One fan burnt out after six months and Valiant replaced, no problem. Both still working fine after 4/5 years.

If you are thinking about one of these my advice is just get it, you will not regret it. They make a big difference. The build quality is outstanding and the customer service just brilliant, so helpful. DOn't be fooled by cheaper versions, Valiant stand over these and if anything goes wrong, they are at the end of a line.

I should just like you to know how delighted I am with the stove top fan I have just purchased. In fact it is the second one I have bought. This is an old sandstone house which is difficult to heat even with wood burners, a rayburn and central heating. The fans make a considerable difference and I would recommend them highly. The lady I dealt with was called Ali she was friendly efficient and a credit to the company.

This is a really powerful piece of kit, I'm honestly very impressed by it and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for an effective fan.

It doesn’t seem like a victory when you light the stove that you said was too powerful for the room and then you melt..... Buy this fan. Yes its more expensive than others and it is significantly taller, but after trying out a few it other, this one really works! It is silent, moves a large amount of hot air through the open door (yes the stove was far too warm even with only one log on it!) and makes the room comfortable. Oh and its far cheaper than a new stove.
